• Account information: name, email address, and authentication data (including via Google Sign-In)
• Business listing details: business name, category, location, contact information, photos, and description, if you list a business
• Reviews and ratings you submit for businesses
• Contact requests between customers and past reviewers
• Basic usage data such as page visits, to help us understand platform activity
• Payment references for paid upgrades, processed securely through Paystack — we do not store your card details

How we use your information

• To create and manage your account
• To display business listings and reviews to other users
• To facilitate contact between customers and businesses, or between customers and past reviewers, only with explicit consent
• To process payments for optional paid upgrades
• To send account-related emails, such as signup confirmation or password resets
• To improve the platform based on how it's used

Google Sign-In

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google to create your NewHereNG account. We do not access any other Google account data.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. Business contact details you provide are shown publicly as part of your listing. Reviewer contact information is only shared with a requester if you explicitly approve a contact request.

Data storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, our database and authentication provider. Payments are processed by Paystack; we do not store your card or bank details directly.

Your choices

You can update or delete your business listing at any time from your dashboard. To request deletion of your account or personal data entirely, contact us using the details below.
